Liturgical music for the Office of Christian Burial: Panychis for the Dead.

The translations in this volume, as well as the adaptation to, and the harmonization of, the canonical melodies are our own unless otherwise indicated. The canonical melodies are either the traditional or standard Russian chants or melodies from old manuscripts (ot staryx rukopisej). Selections identified as Chant of New Skete are our own compositions and also those which we have composed by the inspiration of the chant as we have heard it at different times and in different locales.
